What is Flat-Weave?
Flat-Weaves are a kind of construction that involves vertical yarn (warps) being woven through horizontal yarn(wefts) on a loom as apposed to using a pile or backing. This kind of construction allows resilience to high traffic areas and spill-prone areas. In addition, because of the lack of pile content or backing, flat-weaves are relatively light compared to most rugs. Thus, allowing any relocation without too much of a struggle.
What is Polypropylene?
Polypropylene is a synthetic fiber, a monomer propylene base, that is intended to imitate other known fibers such as wool, sisal, etc. The synthetic fiber is free of toxic chemicals and brings more to the table than just imitation. Polypropylene is built to resist fading, mildew, frequent spills or messes, and scratches. With all that being said, Polypropylene is constructed to be a great indoor or outdoor area rug.
