What is Wilton?
Considered to be one of the strongest of carpet construction, Wilton is a carpet with a production process that involves a series of tufted loops fed with a maximum of 5 spools of continuous yarn. Meaning it only create carpet with just five colors, but luckily, a process called “Planting” can assist to add more colors to make dense patterns. Because of the Wilton’s construction limits, it has allowed room for versatility in patterning, styling, coloration, and heavy foot traffic.
What is Polypropylene?
Polypropylene is a synthetic fiber, a monomer propylene base, that is intended to imitate other known fibers such as wool, sisal, etc. The synthetic fiber is free of toxic chemicals and brings more to the table than just imitation. Polypropylene is built to resist fading, mildew, frequent spills or messes, and scratches. With all that being said, Polypropylene is constructed to be a great indoor or outdoor area rug.
